Idea
Ahmed Mado came from Egypt to a small Russian town to study medicine. Medicine has been his choice since childhood; music has been his passion for several years. The film is about balancing two lives in a foreign country, and about his principles, told in his own words. His last line: "I am here to change something."
Visual language
A cold town, snow, panel blocks and dorm windows against the warm, colourful world of the studio where the music is made. The hero's voice carries the whole film, and the closing aerial view of the town gathers his story into one point.
